15K Overview

This race is the original, crown-jewel of the OCR Community World Championships weekend.

Established in 2014 in the rolling hills of Ohio, the 15K Championships is THE independent Obstacle Course Racing World Championship. The best athletes from around the world come together to tackle 40+ of the sports toughest obstacles spread across rough, mountainous terrain.

Only athletes racing in the Pro division must qualify to compete.

Race results from October 7th, 2024 to May 2026 can be used for qualification.

Men & Women: 13-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+

Open

All abilities and age groups – no prizes or podiums

Podium Awards

All 15K athletes receive participant medals. Athletes who complete all obstacles on the course will also receive a commemorative 100% Completion wristband. Podium athletes will receive:

Podium Medals
  • Top 3 men and women in the Pro division
  • Top 3 men and women in the Age Group divisions
Prizes
  • Top 3 men and women in the Pro division will receive cash prizes
  • The winner of each Age Group division will receive free entry to next year’s 15K to defend their title

Can I update divisions after I have already registered?
We allow changes in divisions (Pro, Age Group, or Journeyman), however, there may be an administration fee in order to do so, plus any incremental costs associated with your new division. Contact us with your request to initiate this process.
Do I need to qualify to compete?
Qualification is required only for the Pro division in the 3K and 15K events. Please refer to our list of qualifying events for detailed criteria.
