Obstacle Course Race World Championships Gives BattleFrog Races Qualifier Status

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_facebook type=”standard”][vc_column_text]The OCR World Championships (OCRWC), obstacle course racing’s first independent championship, which is rapidly gaining momentum as the most collaborative race in the sport, announced today that all 2014 BattleFrog Race Series events have been added as a qualifier events. This addition provides yet another high-quality option for athletes looking to earn their way into the World Championship event that is scheduled to take place in Cincinnati, Ohio in October 2014.

“With their incredibly successful first event in metro Atlanta, BattleFrog has made a statement that they are a leader in obstacle course racing equal to any other organizer out there,” said Adrian Bijanada, OCRWC founder. “According to all reports, Don Mann and his team put on a tremendous race and we are thrilled to offer their participants the opportunity to qualify and compete at our event in October.”

The Top 10 athletes from each age group in BattleFrog’s 15K distance races will be eligible to compete at the World Championship scheduled to be held at in Cincinnati, OH. The race will take place on October 25-26, 2014, with individual competition on the 25th and team competition on the 26th.  Eligible BattleFrog races are listed at http://battlefrogseries.com/events-page/.
