5K Overview

Experience a world-class obstacle course while raising funds for the Stratton Foundation!

All fun and no pressure, this a perfect option for introducing your friends, family, or co-workers to the world of OCR.  A portion of all registration proceeds benefit the Stratton Foundation, a non-profit that provides food, healthcare, education, warmth, and more to very deserving families. The Stratton Foundation is doing its part to help break the cycle of rural poverty by setting families and children on a path to health, success, and economic independence. Race with us and help support this worthy cause.

Entry Fee
Only $75 to tackle the OCR World Championships course.

Athletes receive a personalized race bib and athlete credential, finisher t-shirt, finisher medal, exclusive OCRWC 2021 Hoo-rag, finish-line food, and free race photos.
Challenging Obstacles
20+ obstacles across the 3 kilometer course with aid stations throughout.

The OCRWC courses will contain 40+ unique obstacles to test athletes' skills, strength, and endurance.
Spectators
Spectators are always free, and at the OCRWC, they are guaranteed a show. Bring your whole family or your number one fan and spend the weekend at the OCRWC.

What happens to the free entry I earned by volunteering at the 2019 North American OCR Championships?
Free entries earned by volunteers at the 2019 North American Championships will be automatically upgraded to 2020 OCRWC entries.
What race distances are available?
Race distances include a 100-Meter Sprint, 3K, 15K, and Team Relay formats. Qualification is required only for the 3K and 15K events. Additionally, a charity Open benefiting the Stratton Foundation will be held on Sunday, September 26th, and is open to the public with no qualification necessary.
Can I transfer my spot to a friend?
The OCR World Championships are intended to be a competition between the best obstacle course racers in their respective divisions. As such, transfers of race entries are strictly prohibited. Athletes found to be in violation of this policy may be banned from the World Championship and future OCRWC competitions.
