The OCR World Championships (OCRWC), obstacle course racing’s first independent championship, which is rapidly gaining momentum as the most collaborative race in the sport, announced today that all 2014 BattleFrog Race Series events have been added as a qualifier events. This addition provides yet another high-quality option for athletes looking to earn their way into the World Championship event that is scheduled to take place in Cincinnati, Ohio in October 2014.
The OCR World Championships (OCRWC), obstacle course racing’s first independent championship, furthered its reach into international territory with today’s announcement of new qualifying events and digital media partners. This marks another important moment in what is anticipated to be the most collaborative event in the sport’s history.
Today the inclusion of a new international qualifying event was announced with The Jeep Warrior Race, one of South Africa’s largest obstacle race series. This adds to an already impressive list of qualifier races that includes qualifying races that has extended its reach into the UK with the Dirty Dozen Races, Nuclear Race and Tough Guy the Netherlands with Mud Masters and Strong Viking and Australia with True Grit.
The rapidly growing Obstacle Course Racing World Championship (OCRWC), the sport’s first independent championship, announced a partnership today with Operation Enduring Warrior (OEW), a veteran operated non-profit 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to honor, empower and motivate wounded service members through physical, mental and emotional rehabilitative activities such as Obstacle Course Races.
